Polar bears are amazing animals that live in the cold Arctic. They have special features, called adaptations, that help them survive in such a chilly place. One important physical adaptation is their thick white fur. This fur keeps them warm and helps them blend in with the snowy surroundings so they can catch their food more easily.
Another cool thing about polar bears is that they can swim for long distances. This is a behavioral adaptation. They swim far to hunt seals, their favorite food, and to travel from one ice patch to another. These adaptations help polar bears live happily in their icy home!
