Hanging Willow

I had the pleasure of in including Teigan's amazing work in last months gift box. Her work includes lovely stationery for weddings and everyday life. She also does amazing design work for small businesses. "Inspired by the beautiful swaying willow trees around my hometown, I created Hanging Willow in order to spend my days creating. "

With a graphic design background, Teigan wasn't very interested in the corporate graphic design world, so she started out with freelance work providing design services for small businesses. When things were slow she would work on stationary it has become a huge part of her business. Her main focus is to design and create.

Hanging Willow includes everyday stationery, special occasions, gift cards, calendars and more. She provides a lovely selection of existing designs save-the-dates, invitations, menus, place cards and anything else you may need or if you would like something specific she is more than willing to work with you to create something especially for your big day.

This girly girl at heart loves a good chick flick and anything sweet. Her personality and love of floral designs shines through in her work.

" I find myself spending a lot of my spare time creating and designing. Why? Well, because for me it’s really not work. It’s who I am, and it’s what I love to do more than anything else."

Her biggest hurdle was testing the market. Like many small businesses testing out pricing and product has been her ongoing challenge. Supported by her friends and family she has been able to make her passion into a full time job. Whether it be helping by setting up markets, staying up late helping with orders or continuously encouraging her when she started to doubt herself. Her goal is to continue to grow and evolve her business. Eventually she would love to have her products stocked in retail stores. In my opinion she is doing an amazing job providing quality work at a reasonable cost. It's great to see someone who followed their heart succeed in their dream.
