Walking The Sea Wall
I love this time of year! It's cool enough to wear sweaters and scarves and to enjoy hot coffee. The sun is still warm and the air is still crisp. I've always enjoyed going for walks and now I'm able to spend so much more time outside seeing as my little pup doesn't need to stop for a nap every half hour.
Chris and I had been living in New Westminster for just over a year, and had yet to Stanley park together. A few weekends ago he decided to surprise me with a date: to walk the sea wall with Hank. We picked up coffee and some delicious banana bread and headed out. It was the perfect day for a walk and ended up taking three and a half hours to make it all the way around.
Along the way we came across a local artist making amazing rock stack formations so we stopped and watched him create for a while. It was unbelievable how he could get these rocks to balance so beautifully and seemingly effortlessly. Hank enjoyed every bit of the walk, as did I. I’m looking forward to the next time we walk the seawall as the four of us.
