Registration for 2023-24 School Year
Dear Parents and Caregivers,
We are getting ready to register new students who will be joining Habitat Schoolhouse for the 2023-24 school year. If you have a child going into Preschool, Kindergarten, Grade 1, or Grade 2 in 2023, please read this article as we wanted to share important information in case this applies to your family.
The below outlined information is only for families who are registering children in homeschooling for the 2023-24 school year.
Key dates for regular registration:
New registrations for the 2023-24 school year will be accepted from November 7, 2022 to January 27, 2023. At this time, no payment is required to submit your application. Your application simply holds the place for your child in the grade of your choice.
Our school is facing significant capacity challenges, due to growing enrollment. As long as you register within the Pre Registration window, you are guaranteed to be placed in the program/grade of your choice.
Please note: that while we will continue to place every new student we can into their preferred grade, we may not always be able to do so if we have not received their application by March 15, 2023. The number of enrollment requests made during the Regular Registration period (March 16th to January 31st) exceeds our capacity to support all students.

Here’s the process and what you need to know to register a new student:
To register, parents or legal guardians need to fill out a registration form for each new student. The registration form has been attached to this email and can be found at habitatschoolhouse.com/curricula/register-for-homeschool. If you have any questions while filling out the form, a member of the Habitat Schoolhouse team can assist you on completing the required paperwork.
E-mail the completed registration form(s) to info@habitatschoolhouse.com.
Once your application has been submitted you will receive a confirmation that we have received the information necessary to hold a place in your child’s grade.
Payments are due during the ‘Pre Registration period’ from February 1, 2023 to March 15, 2023 at which time you will receive a discount on your enrollment. If we do not receive your payment by 8:00 p.m. Pacific Time (PT) on March 15, 2023 your child will be removed from the program and placed on a waitlist.
Please note: payments can be made prior to February 1, 2023, however, the discount only applies from February 1, 2023 to March 15, 2023.
