The King in a Manger
Nativity
Family Bible Study - December 2025
This series on the Nativity explores the beautiful mystery of God's wisdom.
We highlight that while the world expected a powerful, earthly king, God sent His own Son as a humble, vulnerable baby. This story shows us that true power and hope are found in God's "upside-down" kingdom. Through engaging activities and scripture, these lessons aim to instill valuable lessons about humility, God's faithfulness, and the "good news of great joy" for all. (Luke 2, Matthew 1:18-2:12)
Lessons: Each lesson plan is intended to be used over the course of 1 week. This allows you time to dig in deep into God’s word and explore each lesson with your children.
Flashcards: Each lesson has an accompanying fashcard and memory verse. You can add each to your collection as you go through the lessons. We suggest putting them up in your home to act as a daily reminder of the biblical principal you are learning.
Worksheets: Many lessons have accompanying worksheets that you can print out and go through with your child to further their engagement and understanding.
Scripture Memory: Each lesson has an accompanying scripture memory verse that ties into the lesson. We have included printouts and an overview on how to incorporate memory work in this family study.
