See Jane Slide
Yay I started a cute little category for all of Jane's posts. I called it See Jane Run. So any post that's about her growing or doing something will have that tag so you can scroll through and check them out.
Here are some photos of Jane's first trip to the waterslides. It was SO MUCH FUN! She was laughing and smiling the whole time and kept saying "More Please!" I can't wait to take her again.
Today was a major success for potty training but it definitely was a lot of work. You know those days where everything seems to go wrong? Well, today was one of those days. I needed to remmeber not to give up.
This is a short account of the first day potty training a one year old. Over all I would consider it a success however there was a lot of pee on the floor that needed to be cleaned up. Check out this post to find out the method we're using to potty train our daughter in one week. PS. There are a ton of cute pictures of her in the bath being silly.
She told me later that she remembers vaguely getting tunnel vision and only concentrating on my voice, my voice telling her to breath, breath, breath, like so many times we had done it at home during previous attacks. Finally, the breathing returned to normal (as normal as it could be during contractions) and the man with the needle had arrived.
Now almost two years later, hundreds of dirty diapers and countless temper tantrums and baby cuddles, I have finally given into Charlotte's barrage of request to finish and/or continue the "series" as it were. If you already read the first few posts all that time ago, please feel free to skip ahead or perhaps refresh your memories by skimming through them again...
This past week has been tough. While everyone else was enjoying everything the Christmas holiday entails (turkey dinner, wrapping and opening presents, playing in the snow), we were in and out of the hospital.
August is perfect for heading to outdoor pools. These cooler temperatures mean less crowded pools, more shade and many more pool visits for us! If you don't mind taking the kids out in the evening it's a beautiful time to hit an outdoor pool.

Our sweet little one just keeps on growing. Some days she will be fussy and in tears and we can tell it is from her legs. Here are a few things we do with her to help manage these spurts of growing pains.
Every year for the past few years my family and I head up Vancouver Island to my Grandparents for a week. My aunts and uncles come, my mum and dad, my sister and her husband. We all get together to visit and help work on my Grandparent's house.
We're so excited to introduce a homeschool curriculum for your preschoolers. I wanted to take a bit of time to write a detailed post on why we've decided to create this curriculum and how we go about planning and prepping it. It started as a labour of love that happened to turn into something more.
